Theater to Go

LINK to FIDDLER ON THE ROOF program

No other musical has so successfully woven music, dance, poignancy, and laughter into such a truly unforgettable show. As Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to hold onto his religion, his Russian-Jewish traditions, and his five daughters while eluding the difficult future that looms ever nearer, he learns that life is "as shaky as a fiddler on the roof." Join Theater to Go to dream with "Matchmaker, Matchmaker;" laugh out loud with "If I Were a Rich Man," and tear up with "Sunrise, Sunset" and "Anatevka." This is a story that will last forever in your heart. Let's celebrate life together. L'Chaim!  $26/$24

Shakespeare ‘70

Oscar Wilde at his very best!  If you haven’t seen his favorite “trivial comedy for serious people,” you won’t want to miss this opportunity to join Shakespeare ‘70 for some high society fun. Presiding over the verbal merriment is Lady Bracknell, possibly the most comically domineering aunt in stage history. Algy and Jack try to be Earnest, while wooing Gwendolyn and Cecily, taking the play through some unlikely plot twists. By the way, if you have seen the show before, you will love the chance to renew acquaintance with those lively characters and the witty dialogue. PG

The Yardley Players

The heartwarming musical based on the Judy Garland movie. It is the summer of 1903, and everyone in the Smith family eagerly anticipates the opening of the 1904 World’s Fair. Over the course of a year, the family's mutual respect, tempered with good-natured humor, helps them through romance, opportunity, and heartbreaks. The musical includes seven of the best-loved songs from the film, plus ten additional Martin and Blane songs written especially for the stage. Memorable musical numbers include "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "The Boy Next Door," "The Trolley Song," and "Whenever I’m with You. G
