  COVID-19 Warning

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that may result in personal injury, severe illness and death. By visiting MCCC, and/or attending Kelsey Theatre shows, events, education programs/classes or other activities, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. All visitors must follow the Kelsey Theatre health and safety protocols. Please help keep each other safe.

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, or simply don't feel well, please stay home. Let us know prior to showtime, so that we can exchange or refund your ticket.

Guests 12+ years old are required to provide documentation of a negative COVID-19 test at the door.

  • For PCR tests: Must be conducted within 72 hours before the show/event starts.
  • For rapid antigen tests: Must be conducted within 48 hours before the show/event starts.
  • Self-reporting tests are not accepted.
  • Acceptable documentation is either printed or digital—and it must clearly reflect the name of the guest, the date of the test, the type of test and the negative result.
  • Photo ID must also be shown for either type of test.

As an alternative, guests 12+ years old can provide documentation of their full vaccination status at the door.

  • Second or final dose must be at least 14 days before the show/event date.
  • Acceptable documentation includes the original vaccination card, a printed copy of the vaccination card or a digital copy.
  • Photo ID must also be shown.

All guests age 18 and over must present a matching photo ID for either the test result or vaccination status.

If a guest is unable to comply with these policies, please call our Box Office at 609-570-3333 for a full refund.

  • Guests 2+ years old are required to wear a suitable mask  that fully covers the nose and mouth.
  • Masks are required at all times for all indoor shows and events—public and private—whether guests are vaccinated or unvaccinated.
    • Masks must be worn in the lobby, restrooms, and in the theatre during the show.
  • Guests can briefly lower their masks   only  if they’re   actively  eating or drinking. (Masks must be raised back up in between bites/sips.)
  • Prohibited face coverings:
    • Masks with exhalation valves/vents
    • Face shields (unless worn with a proper mask)
Sanitization & Cleaning
  • We thoroughly clean and sanitize the building—including using industry-standard electrostatic sprayers to sanitize theater spaces.
  • We frequently clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces.
  • We invested in a specialized air handling unit upgrade that uses UV-sanitized filters to provide greater fresh air exchange.
  • Touchless hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.
  • Hepa filtered air ionizers in use, special UV units in lobby bathrooms
Minimizing Contact
  • We encourage cashless transactions using a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover).
  • When scanning tickets on your phone, please scroll if you have multiple tickets so our guest service team can avoid touching your phone.
  • Touchless hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.
  • The left hand door from Lobby is the "IN" Door, the right hand door is the "OUT" Door. 
  • Please stay 6 feet away from other guests when in the lobby

  • When the show is over please exit the theatre through the side door, unless you require the restroom
  • You will not be allowed to wait in the theatre for the actors, but may wait outside. 
  • If you are a parent of a young cast member, you may wait at your seat.  Please let the House Manager know

Please note: Kelsey Theatre has stadium style seating. Only the handicapped seats are on floor level. All other seats are at least 1 step up or down!

We present a year-round season of full-length family and adult events featuring semi-professional theater (we have 10 resident theater companies), professional booked in events, student shows and The Kelsey Players. We also offer a full season of one-hour Kelsey Kids events!

Tomato Patch 2022 Summer Arts Workshops registration will begin February 2022


Tomato Patch Visual and Performing Arts Workshops, held annually on the West Windsor Campus of Mercer County Community College, is one of the longest-running and most successful multi-disciplinary summer arts programs in central New Jersey. Since 1973, over 7,500 junior and senior high school students have spent several weeks of their summer exploring the visual arts, dance, theater, and vocal music under the guidance of a highly qualified staff of teaching professional artists.




Fall 2021 is currently not scheduled.  Hopefully back in the spring.
