Dearest Diary,

I, Mary Poppins, am on my way to the Banks household in Edwardian London to care for Jane and Michael Banks, who are sorely in need of the perfect Nanny.  Which, I, of course, am! Disney & Cameron Mackintosh have written a wondrous musical based on the classic film about my life as a special kind of nanny. While I’m in the house, adventure abounds! I will whisk those gloomy little Banks children away to meet my friends – dancing chimney sweeps, delightful shopkeepers and an array of other colorful characters. Believe me, we’re going to have a great time. Add to it breathtaking dance numbers and beloved songs like "Chim Chim Cher-ee," "A Spoonful of Sugar," "Feed the Birds," "Step in Time" and "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" and you’re going to have a "Jolly Holiday" with me, Mary Poppins, in a world where "Anything Can Happen" if you let it!
